ATTENDANT CARE TRAINING

|
The purpose of this series of courses is to provide the necessary training to help
successfully provide Attendant Care (AC) services.
|
|
|
|
To meet state training requirements, all AC providers must successfully complete
the five courses in the core portion of this series, as well as courses specific
to the age group with which you intend to work. The core AC courses are:

Attendant Care - Adult
For the AC worker who will provide services to adults, there
is one additional course:

Attendant Care - Child
For the AC worker who will provide services to child consumers
and their families, there are three additional courses:

Managing Behaviors
-
Basic Medicaid
-
HCBS Waivers
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Providers who work with adults and children will take all courses. Those who complete
one track and wish to later take the other track will need only to take the remaining
course or courses.
